Endgame, revisited.

In order to do endgame well, you have to be mindful of what each move is worth.

There are a lot of little details that keep pop up. It's really difficult to keep track of everything.

But in a sense...endgame can be almost basic as 10...9...8...7, but sente and gote really adds to the complications.

Miai counting is very nice, but can be tricky, but in a way, it can help me keep track of what is actually worth the most, and what is worth the least.

And of course...there is some trapfalls, such as miscomputations. Some moves seemed to be worth more, but it's actually less. Some moves seemed to be worth less, but it's actually more.

In all, endgame is quite tricky, so it requires disclipine to be able to follow through it. Furthermore, it's so easy to disregard endgame, because I could be exhausted from middlegame or opening that my mind is not set straight.

After all...practicing good endgame will get you doing good endgame in right way.
